My mother passed away like 25 years ago. And I went to see my dad. He was saying that my mother would be really proud of me. And then he said, “You know, Kathy, you were almost aborted. But we had you.” I didn’t know why I felt this kinship with the baby in the womb. But when my dad told me that story, I realized, I was in that place where that little baby was – going into a place where you should be safe and receive medical care. And someone wanted to kill you. And those young women, my own mother was in that position. So I understand.
